Project planning

Comprehensive planning is essential for a successful project. A feasibility study can provide a solid basis for project planning and execution. AX Consulting has carried out a number of feasibility studies for both industry and public sector. A typical feasibility study covers detailed project objectives and lists options for achieving these objectives, including an analysis of investment and operational costs for each option as well as practical aspects.

Studies for public sector

Public sector decision-maker often commission external consultants to carry out various studies and calculations. Consultants' practical approach to problems can often be valuable in providing a fresh view.

Technical troubleshooting studies

Even a small research and measurement project can be a big help in technical troubleshooting. The subject to be investigated can be an unsatisfactory power output of a device or a system, problems in process control, low air quality etc. The project will not only clarify the reasons for the problem but will also suggest alternative solutions, including a cost breakdown for each. With our competent staff and comprehensive measuring equipment we are well qualified to carry out this type of projects and can often also help with the implementation.

We have provided energy efficiency and renovation services for Öismäe district in Tallinn, Estonia, since 1993.

International work

As a result of the collapse of the Soviet Union a number of things have changed not only in the former Soviet Republics but also in the Eastern and Central Europe. There is an increasing interest in the development of these areas in the EU and amongst international financial institutions, but also in the industry, especially now when a number of countries in this region have recently joined the EU. AX Consulting have been involved in preparing a number feasibility studies and other reports in this region, responding to the needs of both local and Finnish governments as well as international financial organisations. We also have a joint venture company in Estonia. Through this work we have gained valuable experience of local customs and ways of working, which is essential when planning new projects in the area.
